Hey guys, I loved the show, I just had a comment to make about Big Jimmy’s pros and cons about forward unto dawn, and now that Rob got me to watch the show, I can actually say this without talking out of my ass, I have a great wealth of knowledge of the halo universe and watching this show just made it better. BUT I disagree with some stuff that Big Jimmy said because some of his info was inaccurate. The point at which Forward unto Dawn is based, is at the time where Master Chief and his spartans did not have the sheild tech they have now, the reason the armor in the show Master Chief was making didnt look powerfull and had the clunkiness, is because that armor was the armor the spartans first started wearing, it is the Mark IV (Four) armor, not the Mark VI (Six) armor. It didnt have sheild tech, it was heavier, it wasnt as powerfull, it was also made for just innies, not the Covenant. Cortana was not with MC at this point and the stumbling actually made sense because in the book The Fall of Reach it explained how MC and his fellow spartans we jerky when using the new armor because they were so used to the black stealth suits they used, as detailed also in Fall of Reach where they had a fight sequence where the spartans were taking out the Mark III Spartan armor that one of the Marines were using to try and stop the spartans. So when the spartans go into their shiny new armor they explained how they were getting used to it, so the jerkyness in the show was a bit believeable. But yeah its the Mark 4 armor. MC doesn’t get his Mark V until just before the enounter at Reach, thats when he got Cortana. To put it in perspective, at the beginning of Halo 1 MC was just getting used to his new Mark V armor, explaing how the sheild tech made it feel slippery to walk and akward. I just thought I should mention this because I had never really voiced my halo knowledge til now lol I thought this the right moment
Anyway, love the show, love you guys lol Ill join you in Halo 4 at midnight! only 4 days left!!!

Great show. Got to admit.. I think the nitpicking on FUD sounds silly.. I mean its like the SNL Star Trek sketch where Shatner tells the fans to “Get A Life”. I literally cringed when I heard the criticism “Thats not what MAster Chief would do!” I mean COME ON! Give me a break.
Hey guys, after about a 12 month gap from listening to you podcast due to some heath issues, work and school, I figure with the release of Halo 4 coming up I would see how you guys were doing. I fired up episode 134 a few days after it was released and as soon as I heard your familiar voices a grin hung between both my ears. I am enjoying the show immensely. It is great to hear that the podcast is doing better than ever and the trash talking and apple sauce jokes still make me laugh. Keep up the fantastic work gentlemen, I believe Ill be sticking around for quite some time,
